Distribution Center General Manager

Marucci Sports has an opportunity available for a Distribution Center General Manager to direct and implement the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for overall distribution operations, including order fulfillment, warehousing, and inventory management. This position is currently based in Baton Rouge and will transition to our new Distribution Center in Geismar, LA, upon completion.

Key Accountabilities:

Follows measurement metrics and sets performance targets for all distribution-related functions that align with company objectives.

Utilizes data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies.

Ensures all operations adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other governmental regulations.

Fully responsible for budget spend in distribution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the development of associate training in equipment, methods, procedures, and systems use.
• Ensure proper protocols are in place for loss prevention.
• Ensure the WMS is capable of current and future requirements, coordinating with Technology team as needed.
• Initiate and/or manage change. Balance tactical and strategic planning through continuous improvements and ongoing review and analysis of future needs.
• Communicate feedback and recognize individual and group performance.
• Responsible for the security of the workforce and facilities.
• Drive the development and application of best practices in Distribution Operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Report close-out and discontinued merchandise.
• Provide supervision over the flow of goods into and through the distribution operation such that merchandise is available when Marucci's and Victus' customers require it.
• Stay abreast of forecasted needs and ensure proper staffing, space, and equipment to meet demand.
• Provide direction, guidance and coaching to the management team in the DC department to maintain a positive and productive workforce in a safe and clean environment.
• Effectively meet the cost and service needs of Marucci's customers and its total supply chain.
