Disney Advertising Addressable Solutions Intern, Summer 2023

Who We Are

The Addressable Solutions team is responsible for driving addressable revenue through storytelling and solutions focusing on streaming, audience, and innovation. The team effectively communicates the value propositions for our addressable products and new ad capabilities focusing on streaming, data, ad experience, and cross-portfolio solutions. The team helps to streamline and unify our addressable capabilities and offerings to simplify for sales and increase advertiser adoption.

Addressable go-to-market strategy is inclusive of sales positioning and packaging. We work with key stakeholders in Revenue and Yield Management, Streaming Strategy, Brand Solutions, Research, Sales Communication, and the Audience Data team to ensure the approach is inclusive. The team is designed to meet the business needs and accelerate revenue around performance and audience-based solutions.

Lastly, we work closely with sales teams to position and enable our sellers to sell addressable solutions more effectively across the portfolio. The team enables the sales organization with training, resources, and tools to sell and succeed more effectively.

A Day in the Life

As an intern with the Addressable Solutions team, you will:

• Work with Senior Manager, Addressable Solutions on addressable portfolio, competitive streaming, and ad experience positioning and resources. Focus area will include internal/external-facing resources on our Streaming Ad Experiences, Addressable Offerings, and Competitive Positioning.
• Work collaboratively across the Addressable Solutions & Enablement team to complete assigned tasks and assist team with daily tasks
• Build, optimize or maintain internal addressable resources
• Establish connections with stakeholders and partners internally (in specific areas of interest: Addressable Sales, Client Partnerships, Sales Enablement, Brand Solutions, Research, etc.)
• Presentation creation, design, and production
• Provide administrative support for the Addressable Solutions Team Members

• Some understanding of key drivers of addressable advertising revenue, product capabilities and technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mentally agile, able to work on multiple concurrent projects
• Comfortable working in a high-performing team environment
• Proficiency in Keynote, Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point; Photoshop a plus

Required Education

• Currently enrolled as a junior or higher or must have graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited college/university, earning a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Sales, or related

The pay rate for this internship in New York, NY is $21.20 per hour.

Internship Eligibility

• At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program, concurrent to this internship
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Program Dates: The length of this internship is 10-12 weeks, and approximate dates are May/June – August/September 2023. Interns will work :40 hours per week and need to provide full availability throughout the internship.

Housing & Transportation: This internship will be located in New York, NY and interns must be able to provide their own housing and reliable transportation to and from work.
