The Opportunity

We are looking for a tax person for our accounting team of our business in Turkey. The position will be located in Istanbul, Turkey.

What Your Impact Will Be

• Supporting the GL team maintaining the statutory books per Turkish legislation in accurate and timely manner.
• Interact with internal and external auditors and support audits by providing timely & accurate data and communication.
• Supporting the month end closing activities per both US GAAP and Local GAAP
• Submission of E-Statutory Books
• Good relations and cooperation with the tax advisors
• Preparing General Assembly Documents - Affiliation and Activity Reports
• Responding ad-hoc requests
• Submitting other E-declarations i.e Gekap and TUIK Surveys
• Ensure that the company complies with company policies and procedures and that all legal obligations are complied with, seeking appropriate advice in unusual or new circumstances.
• Preparation and submission of Internal Tax Forms via required tools
• Filing and submission of the tax returns – VAT, Reversed Charged VAT, Withholding Taxes, Stamp Taxes and Incomes Taxes
• Managing E-Invoices From E-Invoice portal

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in multinational companies is a plus
• Strong analytical skill
• Accurate, dedicated, flexible
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Good time and project management skills
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax department
• Fluent in English in both verbal and written
• Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting
• Oracle experience is a plus
• No travel restrictions
• Excellent skills in MS Excel
