This position will need to travel according to the needs of the department and the sporting calendar, and should be available to work on weekends and holidays when required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with corporate partnerships to develop integrated video content franchises that achieve both Federation and partner objectives.
  • Manage contacts and relationships with third-party agencies and production companies, including sourcing, supervising, and communicating throughout all aspects of projects
  • Develop and enforce video department style guidelines, brand standards and best practices
  • Lead all aspects of digital video production across all U.S. Soccer digital platforms
  • Plan, track, and supervise video department annual budget to ensure quality, scale, effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Maintain, track, and coordinate equipment usage, shipping, and logistics at events around the world
  • Direct projects and crews across various remote locations with multiple simultaneous deadlines
  • Ideate, pitch, and implement new concepts for USSF video series in partnership with digital, content, integrated marketing and brand teams that further Federation goals
  • Manage full-time video department staff, plus a vast freelancer network and per-diem employees
  • Ensure footage is properly organized and cataloged in U.S. Soccer’s media library, maintaining the video archive’s systems and servers and enforcing DAM organizational best practices
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Passion for visual storytelling and elevating brands through digital media
  • Strong video editing skills with an advanced knowledge of NLE systems (preferably Premiere)
  • Understanding of media asset management best practices, software, systems, servers, etc.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 30% of the time both domestically and internationally
  • 7+ years of related industry experience, specifically in a production team environment
