Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and driven individual to join us as the Director of Special Education. Qualifications
You hold a Master's degree in special education or a related educational field, showcasing your expertise in the field.
You have a minimum of 5 years of valuable experience teaching in a special education setting, providing valuable insights to guide our programs.
Your strong organizational, management, communication, and presentation skills will be essential in fostering a supportive environment.
With your knowledge of special education best practices and resources, you'll lead our team towards excellence in instruction and support.
You can work independently, while also thriving as a collaborative member of our close-knit community.
A passion for our mission means you're ready to travel domestically and internationally as needed to spread the impact of our work.
As an experienced public speaker and author, you'll have the opportunity to share your expertise on special education topics.

Job Responsibilities
As our Director of Special Education, you'll have a wide range of fulfilling responsibilities, including:
Embodying a Christ-centered lifestyle to inspire and guide our community.
Developing and implementing annual goals that contribute to our shared vision.
Providing invaluable direction to our directors, coordinators, and teachers to enhance our programs and materials.
Playing a key role in hiring, supervising, training, and evaluating our dedicated staff.
Staying up-to-date with special education laws at the national and state levels to ensure compliance.
Delivering captivating presentations that educate educators on learning disabilities, best practices, and current research.
Responding to inquiries from educational agencies, schools, teachers, and parents seeking assistance on special education matters.
Building strong relationships with educational leaders and agencies supporting non-public schools.
Overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting to continually improve our services.
Empowering our resource center staff to thrive in their roles within the ministry.
Approving and authoring all special education publications and presentations on behalf of our organization.
Providing guidance on material ordering, budgeting, and curriculum recommendations for our programs.
Collaborating with Development to promote our mission at events and explore potential grants and sponsorships.
Taking ownership of your professional growth and development to continuously improve your skills.
Offering valuable counsel to the President/CEO as requested.
Embracing any other duties assigned by the President/CEO with enthusiasm and dedication.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 97,500.00 123,000.00 Per Year
