Job Description

Carter Maddox are partnered with a rapidly growing Energy Storage organisation who are looking to expand further across the North American Market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong communications with the leadership team, ensuring policy and regulatory matters are understood and prioritised effectively.
  • Track and monitor incentive and RFP opportunities at the Federal and State level.
  • Track Federal and relevant State actors, regulations, and policies which may impact the development of Energy Storage assets.
  • Develop regulatory positions and strategies which proactively take account for, and offset potential policy blockers.
  • Coordinate with appropriate internal departments to ensure policy impacts are understood.
  • Work with trade associations to ascertain regulatory/legislative priorities.
  • Manage a regulatory budget.
  • Able to manage consultants to assist where necessary.
  • In coordination with functional groups, manage policy and filing priorities.


Requirements

  • Ability to deliver concise and impactful communication.
  • Advanced level of education in policy is preferred but not required.
  • Strong experience in the regulatory process at state and federal level with a proven track record.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Exceptional analytical skills in understanding policy impacts to energy development and pricing.
