Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded Director of Operations to lead our manufacturing and retail operations. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain, production processes, and retail management. You will play a critical role in optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring high-quality products, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
· Develop and implement strategic plans, in alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives, to drive operational excellence and business growth.
· Collaborate with the executive team to set operational goals, KPIs, and budgets that support long-term sustainability and profitability.
· Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, logistics, and retail, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
2. Supply Chain Management:
· Oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials and finished products.
· Monitor supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with key vendors to optimize costs and maintain high product quality.
· Implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions, ensuring a reliable and agile supply network.
3. Manufacturing Operations:
· Provide leadership to the manufacturing team, optimizing production processes to achieve maximum productivity, quality, and safety.
· Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce waste.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to manufacturing, safety, and environmental practices.
4. Retail Management:
· Oversee the retail operations, including store management, visual merchandising, and customer service, to drive revenue and brand loyalty.
· Develop and execute retail strategies that align with market trends and customer preferences, leading to an exceptional in-store and online shopping experience.
· Analyze sales performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.
5. Financial Management:
· Monitor and control operational budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality or customer satisfaction.
· Analyze financial and operational data to make data-driven decisions and implement measures for increased profitability.
6. Team Development:
· Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, providing guidance and professional growth opportunities.
· Foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and collaboration within the operations department.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
· Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing and retail environment, with a track record of successfully driving operational excellence.
· Strong understanding of supply chain principles, production processes, and retail management.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, leading to business growth and improved performance.
· Experience in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
· Proficiency in using ERP systems, inventory management software, and other relevant tools.
