Seemann Composites, LLC has an opening for a full-time Director of Manufacturing Operations to join our team. We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operations Director to plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the production manufacturing department as well as assisting in the implementation of the company’s mission and strategy. The Director of Manufacturing Operations will report to the VP of Operations and work closely with the entire executive management team to ensure manufacturing operations is meeting production goals and objectives.

Director of Manufacturing
Responsibilities:
•Lead, structure, and plan the management of manufacturing team of approximately 10 supervisors and 130 production employees to achieve company goals for product quality, on-time delivery, effective materials management and manufacturing profit and productivity
•Training, mentoring, developing and providing leadership to manufacturing team members in the application and use of various Lean manufacturing methods/tools in order to gain maximum efficiencies
•Engage with each Integrated Product Team / cross-functional manufacturing Team, comprised of Engineering, Program Management, Quality, Production & Production Planning, to make sure all requirements are met for on time delivery of products.
•Work closely with all functional areas of the company to include Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Production Planning and Production in order to efficiently manage the current and projected business backlog of the company
•Develop and lead the management of production KPI metrics for the manufacturing operations
•Engage with and work within the company’s ERP accounting system, including leading continuous improvement with the implementation of new ERP functions and tools related to manufacturing
•Responsible for other duties as assigned or required by business need
Qualifications and Skills:
•Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
•Strong demonstrated leadership ability
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
•Ten or more years of Industrial or Manufacturing management experience
•Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred but not required.
•Lean Six Sigma Certification is preferred, but not required.
Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship.
