Director of Manufacturing Required for a leading Plastics Manufacturing Company

A leading firm is seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing to help oversee multiple Manufacturing Plants throughout the US. They will collaborate with the facilities to ensure that LEAN Initiatives are being followed. This Director will directly oversee the Plant Managers throughout the US and work directly with the rest of the Manufacturing and Quality teams.

The Director of Manufacturing will have the following responsibilities:

• Improve results throughout the facilities
• Drive LEAN Manufacturing Principles
• Check in on the consistently of safety throughout the facilities
• Ensure OSHA guidelines are being followed
• Have direct oversight of trainings throughout the US
• Set up check ins with Plant Managers to confirm that all guidelines and KPIs are being met

The ideal Director of Manufacturing candidate will have the following skillset:

• Must be result oriented person
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience managing large and multi-site plants
• Experience in plastics, metal, or building materials
• Working knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma Principles
• 5+ years management experience
• Great communication skills
