Key Responsibilities:


•Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including forecasting, procurement, and demand planning and obsolete inventory.

•Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.

•Identify and mitigate risks in the fulfillment process and resolve issues impeding attainment of delivery KPIs.

•Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal pricing and service levels.

•Lead and develop a high-performing logistics and warehouse team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.

•Oversee employee performance appraisals, ensure performance issues are addressed and resolved.

•Ensure logistics and warehouse team receive the training, certifications, and tools to effectively carry out their duties.

•Participate in planning personnel safety and compliance activities.

•Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of inventory and logistics processes.

•Ensure that all operational metrics are met or exceeded, including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency.

•Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction, and lead initiatives to implement changes.

•Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and other departments, to ensure seamless integration of logistics and inventory management with overall business objectives.

•Provide regular reporting on inventory and logistics metrics, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and transportation/freight costs.

•Lead the development of annual and quarterly budgets for the logistics and warehouse department and monitor actual results against budgeted targets.

•Stay up to date with industry trends and developments, and continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and processes to improve logistics and inventory management.


Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

•7-10+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain management, with at least 5 of those years in a leadership role.

•Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and other logistics software tools.

•Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve shared goals.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex logistics and supply chain issues.

•Proven track record of managing complex logistics operations and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced environment.

•Ability to work collaboratively.

·Natural ability to develop strong, trusting relationships.

·Experience in continuous improvement tools/methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency, and safety.

Salary range $75K-$95K annually
