: Fixed Operations Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly proficient Fixed Operations Manager to join our dealership in West Virginia. The Fixed Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the service and parts departments, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Service Department Management:
- Lead and supervise the service department team, including technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
- Establish performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor service operations to ensure efficient workflow, timely completion of work, and adherence to quality standards.
- Handle customer escalations and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally.
2. Parts Department Oversight:
- Manage the parts department, overseeing inventory levels, ordering processes, and vendor relationships.
- Implement strategies to optimize parts sales and minimize obsolete inventory, maximizing profitability.
- Collaborate with service and sales teams to ensure the availability of parts for timely vehicle repairs and sales needs.
3. Financial Performance:
- Set and monitor budgets for the service and parts departments, analyzing financial data to identify areas for improvement.
- Drive revenue growth by promoting service and parts offerings, upselling service packages, and implementing effective pricing strategies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
4. Customer Experience:
- Uphold the dealership's commitment to exceptional customer service by fostering a customer-centric culture among the service and parts teams.
- Respond to customer feedback, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and industry regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety among the team.
6. Training and Development:
- Conduct regular training sessions for service and parts staff to enhance technical skills, customer service, and product knowledge.
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to implement innovative approaches to fixed operations management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fixed Operations Manager or similar role within an automotive dealership environment.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive service and parts operations, including repair processes and inventory management.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Analytical and financial acumen to assess performance metrics, manage budgets, and optimize profitability.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and compliance standards.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
