Director of FP&A - Outdoor Retailer - Portland (Hybrid)

A growing outdoor retailer, with international presence, is looking for a Director of FP&A to join their business and take full control of global financial planning.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of 3-4, both locally and across US
• Perform month-to-month management control activities leading to efficiencies across commercial conditions
• Effectively present ideas to both senior leaders as well as other levels of the organization.
• Full global P&L and financial planning
• Financial forecasting and budgeting and long term financial planning
• Build effective relationships across teams to support business growth
• Business partner for the President and the overall leadership team

Required Skills

• STRONG FP&A experience on commercial side (gross margin, sales, rebate etc.)
• Ability to work cross-functionally and remain humble amongst peers
• Mixed sourcing model with a manufacturing plant in the US
• Hands on finance experience, this role will require "rolling up the sleeves"
• Degree or Major in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Economics. An MBA a big plus
• Worked in a business with DTC ecommerce and wholesale components
