Director Of Finance Operations

LaSalle Network is partnering with a healthcare consulting and technology services firm that helps provider and payer organizations improve performance, quality, revenue and care delivery. They are looking for a Director of Finance Operations that is seeking an opportunity to grow within a great organization.

Director of Finance Operations Responsibilities:

• Management of Financial Analysts responsible for reviewing and supporting the pricing models for all customer contracts and supporting sales to ensure project profitability inputs are accurate and completed prior to contract execution
• Act as the project leader over the successful implementation and maintenance of applications used for contracting, pricing and project management within the company; responsible for training and onboarding all users of these applications for contracting and time entry
• Drive close collaboration with Operations, Sales and Finance departmental leaders for monthly/quarterly project profitability variance analysis of actual revenue and cost of services compared to project plans
• Direct the conversion of contract terms into the companies Professional Services Application (PSA) to ensure revenue drivers and costs are appropriately entered and adjusted as necessary
• Present dashboards weekly and monthly for project management and executive leadership that identifies KPIs across projects and risk assesses those projects needing immediate or trends that management needs to focus on
• Direct the Finance Operations function and develop its guidelines, processes and procedures, to provide effective and timely contracting execution and project profitability management to the company and its business segments
• Direct the initiation, review and execution of all customer and other third party contracts within the companies contracting platform
• Implement a revenue integrity program which involves audit and validation of inputs and compliance with contracts within the PSA system; provide timely communications to sales and operations personnel to address and resolve issues quickly
• Ensure the Finance Operations function’s work product effectively assists executives in making strategic decisions based on company goals and objectives
• Routinely assess and communicate financial and operational performance trends (historical and forecasted) specific to customer projects, using appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of risk/opportunity, propose key actions/strategic initiatives, and quantify and forecast results/strategic implications

Director of Finance Operations Requirements:

• Proven ability to assess needs, identify issues, recommend alternatives and implement change and will be known as a superb financial change agent
• Proficient with relevant business analysis applications and expert in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI), PSAs and CRMs
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills
• Extensive business knowledge and proven corporate financial analysis skills
• 10+ years of experience business process optimization, operational and/or financial analysis, including 5+ years of management experience
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present and communicate complex findings to people in financial and non-financial positions.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and implement complex financial projects
• Advanced leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills including ability to influence senior leadership with tact and courage while effectively balancing support and challenge
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or Accounting (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others; provide coaching and mentoring
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
