The facilities manager will oversee the maintenance, operations, and overall management of a company's buildings, infrastructure, and services. Their responsibilities often include:
- Requirements on a 24x7 basis.
- Supervising maintenance and repair activities for facilities and equipment.
- Coordinating with contractors and vendors for repairs and renovations.
- Monitoring building systems and addressing any issues promptly.
- Managing facility-related projects and renovations.
- Monitoring/alerting of facility equipment
- Must build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Technical Assistance Associate team (TAC)
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Vendor management, scheduling, documentation and contract control. (Purchase orders, invoicing and variance reporting against the approved budgets.)
- Planning and scheduling preventative maintenance.
Experience
- 5 Years experience managing facilities in multiple areas
- ***Must be able to be on call Saturdays***
- People management experience
- Experience maintaining budgets
- Knowledge of financial tools
- Strong communication skills
- Experience negotiating vender contracts
