Director Of Content Jobs

As the director of content, you will oversee content strategy, optimize editorial processes across brands, and serve as an editorial leader on the company's executive team. You will manage the lead editors for seven trade publications, ensuring a consistent and independent editorial voice for all the company's brands. You will also be responsible for the career development of the entire editorial team, ensuring career pathing is consistent and relevant among our brands. This includes helping lead editors develop as managers of their own editorial teams.

You will harmonize and distinguish the editorial function across print and digital products for all brands, balancing relevance and efficiency across the portfolio and in each brand's specific end market. The director of content will also assist lead editors with sourcing freelancers and contributors for content published across our brands’ portfolios.

You will partner with the director of operations on identifying best-in-class software and other tools for the distribution of our content to readers. You will advise on the company’s tech stack for its websites, email and other processes, continually looking for ways to improve efficiency for the editorial function.

In addition to content, you will also assist the executive team in the creation and leadership of companywide initiatives and strategic planning.
