Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Review the work progress on daily basis
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks, overall supervision of construction safety plan.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Organize and run weekly project owner/architect/contractor meetings
  • Coordinate and direct architects, consultants and contractors to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure department needs and objectives are incorporated into project scope
  • Ability to manage, coordinate, and execute procurement and installation of all owner supplied materials.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance
  • Ability to lead teams of architects and designers through the entire design process from inception to turnover and ongoing support.
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
  • Responsible for assistance in the development of and implementation of property level capital improvement plan.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques


Required Skills And Abilities


  • Willing to travel to various locations, up to 50% travel.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
  • Ability to interface with senior level executives to achieve project goals
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Understanding of all facets of the design and construction processes on a large scale


Supervisory Responsibilities


This position supervises outside consultants, contractors and vendors.


Education, Training, And Experience


  • Previous experience in entertainment, gaming or hospitality is preferred.
  • Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project or other CMP scheduling software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent education and expereince.
  • 5-10 years of industry related or relevant experience managing multiple large scale construction projects with up to $50M in project cost.
