THE OPPORTUNITY


There currently exists a unique opportunity for someone to become our new Director of Information and Systems Technology. You will provide leadership, direction, oversight, and company-wide support for IT/IS functions including Hardware & Servers, Network Service, Enterprise Systems, Cyber Security, Web Support, and the Galvion Help Desk.


What You Will Be Doing


You will leverage your broad knowledge across IT & IS functions while managing daily activities and creating & executing strategic plans for the improved support and growth of Galvion.


YOU WILL BE EVALUATED ON YOUR ABILITY TO


  • Provide oversight and management for our ERP system (INFOR), automation and production software (Minitab, Unipoint, doc control, etc.), engineering design and development software (SolidWorks) and provides guidance and support for visual (paperless) data management in manufacturing areas.
  • Establish periodic (monthly, quarterly, annually) efficient required financial data reporting for the business units and corporate CFO.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement major modifications to existing network infrastructure with business units and corporate leaders.
  • Maintains responsibility for all layers of cyber security, ensuring systems comply with various regulations such as ISO, DFARS, ITAR, CCG, CE+, etc.
  • Lead and motivate the department, review strategic goals and initiatives, promote team building and work to provide career growth for staff.
  • Establishes and develops policies and procedures for infrastructure, information security and disaster recovery.
  • Ensure systems comply with various regulations such as ISO, DFARS, ITAR, CCG, CE+, etc.
  • Provide leadership and develop processes for the review and selection of business software for Galvion.
  • Oversees the management of corporate help desk activities and resolves escalated issues if necessary.
  • Understand, design, and recommend solutions to continuously improve security best practices.


What You Will Need To Succeed


  • Proven experience building IT/IS driven solutions and dashboards for reporting to executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and managing budgets to architect and deliver progressively more complex IT/IS related solutions.
  • Experience building business systems particularly relating to the Business Intelligence Data and Analytics.
  • Experience overseeing and optimizing network, WAN, email, hardware, and software needs.
  • Broad knowledge of current technology trends, processes, and hardware.
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge of ERP systems, networks, hardware, and software systems, vendor, and contract management.
  • Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field and meaningful experience in technical operations management and/or an equivalent combination of training and experience in complex work environments.
