Who We Are Looking For
When the game changes this fast, you need an expert to keep the team aligned. We’re looking for an Future of Work Director to steward enterprise Future of Work initiatives within Human Resources as part of a broad cross functional team. This role will lead and design initiatives to enable our Future of Work strategy aligned to workforce, workplace, and ways of working. The candidate will be a systems thinker and have experience in human centered design and delivery, with a track record of successfully leading complex initiatives in a global context. The game changes fast and our team drives a dynamic portfolio of work. The candidate will bring a high degree of adaptability, resilience, and the flexibility to work across multiple projects. Like the athletes Nike serves, our team constantly seeks to set the standard for our teammates, knowing that in the pursuit of greatness, there is no finish line.
What You Will Work On
In this critical role, partner with a multidisciplinary team of experts to design and deliver brand-aligned physical and digital experiences for Nike employees worldwide and be accountable for core components of our Flexible Work Model, including hybrid and remote work approaches.
Continuous and ongoing operations required to manage and run the global, enterprise-wide program
  • Communications, content, and resources
  • Risk management and compliance (tax, payroll, enterprise risk, hr risk, etc)
  • Governance and decision rights
  • Employee listening and impact reports
Data-driven and research-led approach to understanding the flexible work environment and optimizing for greatest impact
  • Manager/leader/employee capability
  • Cross-functional partnership (Global Places and Spaces, Global Technology, Finance, etc.)
  • Success measures and data insights
  • Assessment tools and optimization guidance
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will be a master of the ever evolving future of work landscape. Reporting to our Senior Director, Global Teammate Experience, you will be a part of a global team partnering across Human Resources, Technology, Global Places and Services, Legal, and Communications to deliver impact to the Nike organization. You will be accountable for extensive external benchmarking and building strong partnerships with other organizations.
What You Bring
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a diverse team across multiple levels
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve problems quickly, efficiently, and collaboratively
  • Ability to independently navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, identify conflicts and negotiate solutions in a fast-paced global setting
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Organizational Development, Social Sciences or related field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
  • Skilled at turning complex information into clear narratives by connecting systemic trends and issues, examining opportunities from multiple perspectives, identifying options and articulating tradeoffs
  • Ability to play an executive-level advising role in cross-functional transformation projects, including supporting leadership teams to navigate diverse priorities and drive clear decision-making
  • Advance degree is preferred
  • Strong management consulting skills, including project scoping and management, hypothesis development, research, benchmarking and trend identification
  • Ability to independently navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, identify conflicts and negotiate solutions in a fast-paced global setting
  • Experience working as a consultant or lead on Future of Work initiatives
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is required for this role.
  • 8 + years of relevant work experience with at least 5 years as an internal or external consultant
  • Experience managing strategic human centered design projects which have cross-functional impacts, skilled at adapting plans to changing environments and constantly prioritizing the most important work to achieve milestones and drive impact
