Preference is for position to be hybrid in North Haven CT but open to US remote.
The Director, FP&A & General Surgical Technologies, US Region will partner with VP of Sales, Sr. Director of Marketing & VP of Finance for the US Region, providing leadership of all FP&A activities which include quarterly forecasting and closing, multi-quarter rolling forecasting and annual budget planning, monthly reporting, and analysis of business results.  As well, this individual will be the Finance leader for the US Region General Surgical Technologies organization, partnering closely with the global BU and with the VP of Sales for our Surgical Safety & Closure sales team. 
The individual will lead a team of three analysts and will drive financial processes around reporting deadlines and various deliverables that involve detailing and explaining monthly and quarterly performance.  The role also entails process improvement and collaboration with Surgical Finance stakeholders and Surgical leadership to meet long term improvements and objectives.  The position plays a key role in providing analytical and business decision support to the US Region Commercial leadership team.  This is a detail-oriented position that requires a high-energy self-starter.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
·         Serve as key Business Partner with US Region Commercial Leadership to lead and develop optimal deployment of financial resources engaged in the Monthly Financial Reporting & Current Quarter Latest Thinking forecasts.
·         Lead Multi-Quarter Rolling Forecasting and Annual Budgeting processes.
·         Provide support to Surgical US Region Leadership on their budget development.
·         Align financial processes and deliverables with Surgical OU processes and deliverables around Monthly Financial Reporting and Quarter Close Reporting
·         Develop analytics to provide internal management with insightful business intelligence
·         Finance business partner for the VP of Sales for Surgical Safety & Closure and review monthly and quarterly financial results.
·         Present financial results, trends and issues to Senior Management during monthly & quarterly business reviews.
·         Develop finance best practices and solutions to automate and improve the efficiency, accuracy and usability of reporting tools.
·         Complete detailed financial analysis supporting management reporting
·         Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by Senior Management.
·         Engaged in special project work as needed supporting various FP&A functions like QBR
·         Manage a team of 3 as well as partnering across the broader US Region Finance & Commercial Operations function to ensure work deliverables are achieved and processes are seamless.
