Qualifications Required


  • HS diploma or GED
  • Possess valid drivers license with acceptable driving record, MVD report and reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrated skills to ensure respectful communication toparticipants and coworkers.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to type and working knowledge/familiarity with computers and electronic clinical record keeping.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and a varied schedule each week
  • Obtain and pass post tests for First Aid, CPR, Article 9, Medication, and Prevention/Support Certification, DCW and any other required training. Agency will provide training if candidate does not possess.
  • Able to operate independently with minimal oversight.
  • Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card and pass a background check.
  • Ability to prepare required paperwork to support and document activities in the contractually required time lines.


Qualifications Preferred


  • Two years of experience in habilitation/rehabilitative assistance to persons with psychiatric and/or developmental disabilities
  • Very strong interpersonal skills
  • Associates Degree in the field
  • Priorexperience in Habilitation orRehabilitation
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Sign Language.
  • Two years of experience in a person centered community integration program assisting persons with developmental and/or psychiatric disabilities.
