Who we are looking for:

Winter Family Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at our Swan Lake House in Duluth, MN. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, and compassionate individual to help support the mission of Winter Family Care by ensuring high quality care for the residents served. Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Assisting residents with everyday tasks such as dressing, bathing, changing, etc.
• Medication administration
• Maintaining a clean environment
• Taking residents to appointments as needed
• Preparing meals for residents based on dietary needs
• Taking residents on outings as the weather allows

Qualifications/requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or higher education
• Experience working with blind or deaf individuals a plus
• Experience in direct care strongly encouraged but willing to train the right candidate
• Must hold a valid drivers license
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Shift availability:

• Candidate must be flexible to day shift, night shift, awake overnight shift, and weekend shifts (schedule will be determined by the house coach based on staffing needs)
