Overview

Life is Beautiful is looking for an eager and technologically-savvy individual with experience in digital marketing to assist with marketing initiatives ahead of and during the 2023 Life is Beautiful Festival. The position will work closely with the Festival Marketing Manager to ensure all campaigns and strategies are executed to perfection. Duties include collecting, organizing, and updating website and mobile app content, scheduling push notifications, coordinating with sponsor teams to ensure deliverables are met, creating and building email campaigns, and assisting in building and conducting onsite and post-festival surveys.

Scope of Work

The Digital Marketing Assistant is responsible for:

• Populate the mobile app with all onsite POI’s based on festival sitemap.
• Assemble, build, and deploy email newsletters with provided copy and content under the direction of the marketing team.
• Work with the food & beverage team to ensure all vendors have updated menus in the mobile app.
• Create any QR codes as requested by marketing and festival operations teams.
• Assist in building, deploying and conducting during-festival and post-festival survey’s.
• Collect, organize, and update website and mobile app content as needed.
• Manage, schedule, and deploy mobile app push notifications as required by the marketing, sponsorship, and festival operations teams.
• Work with mobile app vendors to ensure geolocation regions are accurately placed and capturing location data efficiently.
• Manage links, shortcodes, and UTM tracking parameters for all marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate:

• Systematic and strategic critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
• Has experience in digital marketing, internet marketing, or other related fields.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Is an organized self-starter with meticulous attention to detail.
• Technologically-savvy and has experience utilizing various marketing tools including email marketing software, CMS software, Google Marketing Suite, Amazon Web Services and others.
