Job Description

ABOUT CONVERSE

Are you interested in working for the most iconic and well-loved sneaker brand in the world? Born in sports and made for the street, Converse is a place to explore your potential, obliterate boundaries and push out the edges of what can be. We seek people who can lead, grow, think, dream, and create. Our culture thrives by embracing diversity and rewarding imagination. Converse seeks achievers, leaders, and visionaries. At Converse, it’s about each person bringing their authentic self, skills, and passion to serve the daring spirit of youth.

ABOUT OUR TEAM

The Global Digital Design team at Converse creates strategic and distinct digital experiences to inspire our audience. We’re powered by the people and style of our communities. We’re energized by our innovation and purpose. And we’re constantly searching for the stories behind our products.

Our team is made up of four different functions that work together: Creative Operations, Digital Content, Digital Design and Digital Copy. Together, we strive to create content that exemplifies our Brand Mission, Values, and Purpose (aka, our MVP).

We develop content and storytelling that supports the wholesale business, and digital direct commerce ecosystem. We’re talking everything from our partner sites, to our very own Converse.com, email campaigns, paid social, and much more. Specifically, your role will be focused on the operations for the digital design and digital copy functions.

As a team, we move our business goals forward through compelling brand stories, seasonal commercial stories and custom “Converse By You” content across our digital channels—all over the world.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead both executional and strategic projects within our Global Digital Content & Design (GDCD) team. This candidate is a natural leader, with a positive & collaborative attitude, an entrepreneurial mindset who takes initiative and is eager to create and instill operational excellence for our team. The work will be challenging, never boring, and will be an integral part of the creative team bringing new digital experiences and solutions to the Converse brand.

This candidate should have a passion for the Converse Brand and unbending rigor for creating and implementing processes to enable high-quality work. Someone who thrives in the digital landscape and understands the ins and outs of paid media and integrated marketing campaigns. We’re looking for someone who can get into the nitty gritty of executional work but also see the big picture and help create and document new workflows and ways of working.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Operational excellence always: ensure you deliver high quality work, on time and on budget 100% of the time
  • Assist with updates & governance of our online Standards & Guidelines/Onboarding portal. Document new processes and best practices as created

  • Agency management as needed
  • Partner with Sr. Manager and cross-functional teams on strategic projects, including op modeling, process improvements and new workflow implementation
  • Resource allocation tracking and reporting
  • Understand the vision and strategy of our team at a macro level and be able to implement micro level projects to execute against that strategy.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As the Converse Global Digital Operations Manager, you will work with our team of Designers, Copywriters, Operations Mangers, UX, and Experience Strategists. You will partner closely with teams across the Digital Organization, Brand Management, and Geography teams, to deliver creative experiences that support digital business goals.

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Global Digital Creative Operations.
