CEIs Fortune 30 Client is a leader in the media and communications industry, and they are is adding a Digital Content Specialist to their IPTV / Streaming team based in Irvine, CA


Job at a glance:


  • Position is hybrid onsite in Irvine 1 day per week, and remote on the other days
  • Will be involved in monthly re-programs and day-to-day maintenance of channels, ensuring that programming continues, troubleshooting issues that come up with assets.
  • Pay rate is $29.00-33.00 / HR + Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, and sick time)
  • This is a continuing contract that will extend in 6-month increments and is planned to convert to FTE


Responsibilities:


  • Work with marketing team on new tools or issues they are experiencing JIRA ticket creation
  • Ingestion of all content coming on board
  • On-boarding / testing back up of MRSS and XML feeds as well as manual content deliveries (Aspera)
  • Prioritizing launch schedules and client delivery of Metadata, XML Files, MRSS Feeds, and other IPTV / TV Streaming content, then following up with teams to ensure they are hitting goals/deadlines
  • Testing, ingesting, and communicating blockers they see with partners
  • General housekeeping such as documentation
  • Channel artwork and set up


Preferred Skills:


  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Some exposure to IPTV / Streaming is highly preferred
  • Experience with IPTV Metadata, Video Metadata, XML Streaming Feeds, IPTV , MRSS, Aspera, or similar content delivery or management tools highly preferred
  • Ability to use Jira, Microsoft Office, and learn internal systems
