Summary
This employee will be responsible for the management of all Viega LLC digital content related to CAD/BIM models, material estimation, and pricing services. They will coordinate the process of creating new and managing existing content hosted on Viega LLC’s website, and will ensure the accuracy of Viega content hosted within third-party software platforms. They will provide support for internal and external customers across multiple software platforms commonly used in the construction industry.
Details
Content Management

• Implements content management protocols for third-party software developers
• Works directly with market management to facilitate the creation of building models for new products
• Acts as liaison between market management and content-development teams
• Reviews technical information to ensure accuracy
• Oversees Viega LLC BIM library and provides suggestions to improve customer experience
• Works with pricing services to ensure accuracy within estimation software

Technical

• Ensures digital content meets quality standards consistent within industry
• Supports technical support with CAD/BIM related technical inquiries
• Assists design services department with creation and maintenance of detail library
• Provides mechanical piping layouts using existing digital content

Other

• Facilitates training programs in support of digital assets
• Supports field sales and inside sales to drive usage of digital assets
• Adheres to all safety guidelines.
• Occasional travel will be required.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
• Gives input and support regarding training initiatives
• Researches new methods, practices, and procedures
• Attend meetings as required or assigned.

Required Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to adhere to the highest standards of quality while continually performing at the highest possible level.
• Knowledge of various CAD/BIM platforms used in the construction industry
• Ability to work independently
• Familiar with common 3D file formats such as STEP, IGES, VRML/X3D etc.
• Familiar with common CAD file types such as DWG, DXF, DGN, RFA etc.
• Possesses excellent presentation skills
• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk products including Revit and AutoCAD
• Ability to perform with superior service, reflecting a positive company image while sustaining a positive attitude with those you interact with; always going above and beyond to help others out, regardless of their position or department.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
• Ability to work with others in a team environment
• Ability to analyze and synthesize complex content
• Knowledge of estimation and labor units as they pertain to the construction industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field

AND

• 5+ years of related work experience and industry recognized CAD/BIM certifications

OR

• 2-5 years of related work experience and industry recognized CAD/BIM certifications
• 10 years of related work experience

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
