Your Opportunity

The Digital Content Coordinator is responsible for supporting digital & marketing efforts within the sales & marketing team at Casa BACARDÍ Puerto Rico.

This role will supervise the key social platforms of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter or any other channels that are relevant, by informing the strategy, helping create the content, and managing the engagement and analytics for these platforms. The role will also assist in event coordination, media content creation, graphic design and have experience in videography and photography.

Responsibilities

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Collaborate with sales & marketing team to effectively manage content calendar, artwork approvals, deadlines, and advertisement purchases.
  • Track social media analytics to identify growth and determine future strategy.
  • Maintain web content as required through primary (Casa Bacardi Website and Google landing page) and third-party applications (Yelp, Trip Advisor, Viator, etc.) in a timely manner determined by Sales and Marketing team.
  • Experienced in Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Reader, Canva and other design programs.
  • Implement social media strategies designed by the sales & marketing team to increase online engagement and drive footfall to Casa BACARDÍ.
  • Document content from our diverse activities to use for social media marketing (i.e., press trips, blogger/influencer visits, on-site and offsite events, BACARDI bartenders on site, among others).
  • Collect first party data analytics and tracking for future engagement opportunity.
  • Be aware of all new developments in social media and industry trends to ensure Casa BACARDÍ remains ahead of the curve.
  • Share quarterly social content calendars with the Brand and Creative Excellence teams.
  • Share new social content ideas through the Brand and Creative Excellence teams.
  • Cross-promote social media partnerships with Brand and Creative Excellence teams.
  • Provide results of social media campaigns to Marketing Manager for quarterly Brand Home meetings as well as monthly reports for within brand homes.
  • Ensures all social media platforms are maintained accurately and respond to comments, messages, and engagements in a timely manner.
  • Ensure content is created within the time and budget restrictions outlined.
  • Act as a representative for Casa BACARDÍ always, when communicating with both internal and external contacts.
  • Be the Marketing support for the Managers at Casa BACARDÍ – assisting with basic marketing / sales tasks including group sales, new businesses, collateral creation, visitor feedback mechanics, research projects, web updates, copy writing, etc.
  • Ensure licensing laws are always abided by.
  • Be a team player and willing to help others when needed, including in other departments.
  • Have a fundamental understanding of all Bacardi products, and Casa BACARDÍ, thus using this product knowledge to inform social content.
  • Have a fundamental understanding of the key importance of excellence in customer experience and hospitality.
  • Must be prepared to work flexible hours according to business requirements, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Education
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration
Experience:
  • 3-5 years in Marketing
  • 3-5 years in Social Media Management
  • 3-5 years in Creative Design
Skills/Abilities:
  • Effective use of the internet and email
  • Knowledge in electronic systems (word, Excel, PP, Google)
  • Experience in Adobe Suite, Canva, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
