Description

The Digital and AV Tech is responsible for assisting the Digital and AV Manager in all aspects of digital images, sound, light and video implementation on the property and for events and promotions as needed.
Essential Duties
  • Demonstrate and provide outstanding customer and employee relations at all times.
  • Replace and troubleshoot hardware and software as needed.
  • Responsible that digital schedules are appropriately implanted in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Help with management of a complex synchronized media plan and troubleshoots software and hardware issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Additional special event sound, lighting and video support throughout the property as needed.
  • Assist in nightly entertainment at Bar 360 and other locations, including, but not limited to, setting up and operating microphones, stage equipment, musical instruments, lights, lighting effects, video playback, camera operation and other equipment needed by performers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure that sound levels and content of audio in the property are appropriate.
  • Provides assistance with special events on the Central Park level during high-volume events, such as concerts, dance parties, trade shows and markets.
  • Provide front- and back-of-house sound, lighting and video set up and testing.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least thirty (30) pounds, and varied instances of standing/walking.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.

  • Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team Members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. When on the casino, kitchen, restaurant or property floor or some back of house areas, the noise level increases to loud. Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
Work/Educational Experience
  • Experience with Graphic Design in digital formats helpful.
  • Experience with Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Polycom and Lifesize gear are a plus.
  • Experience with lighting, lighting boards (LD), camera operation, video recording, or cable installation are a plus.
  • Required experience with live sound reinforcement (A1, A2).
  • Must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school or equivalent diploma and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the New York State Lottery regulations.
  • Two (2) years related work experience
  • Proficient on the PC and Macintosh platforms, and Microsoft Office software.
