Now Hiring:
Dietician (Full-Time)
Responsibilities of a Dietician:
  • Develop, implement and promote a quality medical nutrition therapy based on patient needs.
  • Communicate with the case manager on patient progress and needs. Participate in care plan management.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
  • Assure that nutrition assessments, reassessments and care plans are completed to meet each patient’s identified needs.
  • Assure that consults are completed by the department timeframe.
  • Collaborate with patient care staff/team members to address continuum of care needs for each patient as necessary, prior to discharge.
  • Provide nutrition education/counseling to patients and/or family members in an effective and professional manner. Incorporate each patient’s readiness to learn and their educational needs into the nutrition assessment as necessary.
Qualifications of a Dietician:
  • Credentialed / Awarded by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) by Successfully Passing a Registration Examination.
  • Experience as a Dietician in a nursing home or rehabilitation facility preferred.
  • Must be vaccinated or have a medical/religious exemption.
