Description:

The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing assistance in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

Responsibilities for Dietary Aide:

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders
• Other duties assigned
• Maintains inventory of food items, proper storage of food items
• Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean & safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment & supplies are maintained
• Assist the Dietary Cook with meal preparation

Qualifications for Dietary Aide:

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must maintain the care & use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must have proof of Covid-19 vaccination (Religious and/or Health Exemptions May be Available for Qualifying Employees)
