Diesel Technician Jobs

Bobcat of St. Joe specializes in new, used, and rental compact excavators, sub-compact tractors, skid steer loaders, track loaders, wheel loaders, utility vehicles, chippers, and stump grinders. Bobcat of St. Joe is looking for a Diesel Technician to join our team. If you have previous experience working on construction equipment and want to join a winning team to grow your skills and opportunities, this is the job for you! $42,000 - $90,000 - Depends on experience Monday-Friday Day shift hours Responsibilities

• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.
• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner
• Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
• Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge
• Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
• Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.
• 2 year technical school graduate preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
• 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
• Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
