Purpose and Objective:

Ariba, Inc. seeks a Developer at our Plano, TX location to Interact with product managers to understand the requirements and apply them to the Integration solutions.

Expectations and Tasks:

Discuss and review the design approach with architect and development team. Coordinate with cross functional teams to realize solutions. Work on proof of concept (POC) to certify that the solution will work as per the design. Document design specifications to allow knowledge distribution and approval as part of the solution. Code solutions based on the design specification using Agile methodology. Code review with the architect and other developers. Coordinate with QA team members to certify developed solutions are working as expected. Fix bugs found during QA testing. Develop monitoring tools to ensure the applications are running at their best with high availability. Run performance testing over the applications to get the benchmark associated to it. Propose enhancements to applications based on the results of performance testing and monitoring tools.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The employer will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 2 years in the following:

• Develop integration solutions using Java/J2EE, AWS, REST API, SOAP, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Redis Cache.
• Troubleshooting and performance tuning techniques with Run Time Analysis, SQL Trace, Dynatrace, Splunk Queries, Kibana elastic search, Developer Code Inspector, Code optimization and modular techniques.
• E-commerce tools including commerce tool and catalog One for B2B solutions.
• Create graphs using splunk to capture error and exceptions thrown by the applications.
• ServiceNow Cloud based IT service platform, Confluence and Jira for Project tracking management.
• Data extraction from non-relational and relational databases including Oracle and NoSQL using SQL queries and stored procedures.
• UI Tools including Angular, HTML Suite, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, and HTML 5.
• IDE tools including Eclipse, IntelliJ, and Oracle developer Studio.
• Ongoing maintenance, support, enhancements, and identification of possible bugs within the code for projects
• Messaging processing tools including Kafka and JMS.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $126,402 – $155,790. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $126,402 – $174,800. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
