Responsibilities:

The Staff Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for driving innovation in automation and efficiency for our continuous Integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline. Employs DevOps best practices and expertise to help realize improved metrics and outcomes for a single platform. Mentors and trains other DevOps engineers as required.

Responsibilities:

Working autonomously

  • Coordination and communication of initiatives among departments
  • Supports execution of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Process re-engineering
  • Design and implementation of new automation tasks
  • Learn and utilize new technologies as we evolve our processes
  • Train and provide feedback to team members
  • Resolve issues from build/deployment failures
  • Perform daily build/deployment activities for different environments.
  • Supports teams through the estimation, prioritization, and planning exercises
  • Perform code reviews
  • Lead in the adoption of new tools as necessary


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1+ year of Salesforce experience (including Salesforce DX)
  • Strong knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools such as: Jira, TeamCity, Jenkins, Github Actions, .Net framework, Java front-end.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development and design with increasing responsibilities and project complexities
  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science required
  • Solid experience with NPM, PowerShell, and Perl, Python script
  • Strong knowledge of source code control platforms such as SVN, Git
  • Solid experience with Web Services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
