Description


The Deputy Executive Director is to be directly involved with the Executive Director in planning, coordinating, and marketing functions of Mental Health Resources, Inc. The Deputy Executive Director will also assist in public relations, administrative, and quality assurance activities. The Deputy Executive Director is involved in the oversight of various programs in the agency.


Requirements


Full-time, Exempt Position


Starting Pay: $80,000 + depending on licensure and experience

  • Supervises the QI Director and all QI services (ie. CARF, audits).
  • Signing of Checks
  • In agency coordination and strategic planning.
  • In agency planning.
  • In agency public relations.
  • Works closely with the agency's Chief Financial Officer.
  • Serves on the Ethics, Fundraising, Grant, and Policy Committees.
  • Carries out the agency mission.
  • Staffing changes
  • Purchase Order approval
  • Maintain HIPAA and client confidentiality at all times.
  • On other agency committees as assigned by the Executive Director.
  • Provides oversight to the Directors of Clinical Services and Clinical Programs for MHR.
  • Assists Executive Director:
  • Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work schedule is essential.
  • Carries out certain tasks in the absence of the Executive Director:
  • With liaison service between the agency and community stakeholders.
  • In agency risk management planning.
  • In organizational structures and planning.
  • Provides weekly reporting of public relations within the community.
  • In agency marketing.
  • Payroll/Benefit approval
  • Serves as the agency's Corporate Compliance Officer.
  • Serves as the agency’s Chief of Operations.
  • Serves as a member of the Leadership/Management Team.


Marginal Duties


  • Maintains confidential records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Typical Decisions: Working closely with the Executive Director, the Deputy Executive Director assists with planning, prioritizing, and administration of various programs and projects.


Minimum Qualifications


Knowledge of: Electronic Health Record, Project management, and Quality improvement processes.


Skilled in: Multitasking, problem-solving, decision-making, listening, adaptability to changes, communicating clearly both verbally and in writing, operating a personal computer with standard software, and typing.


Education: Preferred Master’s degree.


Experience: Prior supervisory experience, Behavioral Health experience, or Business management experience.


Licenses and Certifications: Must have a valid Driver’s License. Preferred Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.


Conditions of Employment: Must pass a driver’s license check, criminal history background check, and periodic and social security number verification check. The primary work location for this position is an MHR office. This position will typically work Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm MT or an approved modified schedule in the office. This position may be temporarily eligible to work from home through a Work from Home Agreement on a case-by-case basis.
