In this product-centric model, the Network Cloud Product Architect is a strategic role that directly collaborates with the Product Owners, Engineering Leads and other key partners to define a target state and technical roadmap for the product including its end-to-end architecture while ensuring adherence to standards and strategic initiatives. You'll be able to innovate in collaboration with technologists across JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Global Technology community, as well as in partnership with of the most important tech firms in the world. In this role, you will always have interesting, fascinating work and be part of a great team.
Job responsibilities
  • Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
  • Have a broad expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
  • Serve as a leader, consultant, or mentor in technical architecture areas of expertise to staff throughout the product teams
  • Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
  • Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes
  • Knowledge in at least one area of technical architecture
  • Fluency in architecture and design across all systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Experience with AWS and its network services
  • Experience in risk and risk control compliance

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Possessing and maintaining a strong working knowledge of multi-platform technical environments
  • Influencing skills that can create a culture of change, excellence and innovation
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, including ability to negotiate compromise and demonstrate diplomacy
  • Participating in major technical decisions, developing technical proposals that consider the alternatives and business case
