Job Summary

The Deputy Athletic Director - External Operations provides oversight of all external operations in the Athletics Department at Illinois State University. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing leadership for: revenue generation units; ticket operations staff; athletics communications staff; marketing, promotions and video productions units. Additional responsibilities include stewarding alumni and donors and serving as a key contributor to the Director of Athletics' Leadership Staff. This position is responsible for conducting any duties or activities with integrity and within the rules of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), the Missouri Valley Conference and/or Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVC or MVFC), the State of Illinois, Illinois State University, and the Athletics Department.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$90,000-$150,000/based on experience

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree
2. Five (5) years of experience in intercollegiate athletics administration or related field

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's degree
2. 10 years' experience in intercollegiate athletic administration or related field
