Heavy Equipment Operator | In this role you will…
Be responsible for operating company owned machinery in a safe and effective manner. Operator is expected to use his/her experience and judgement to make decisions considering safety and efficiency.

• Monitor and track field data as requested by superintendent
• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Perform daily pre-inspections: identify problems or defects that need corrected, report problems or defects immediately
• Maintain paperwork daily
• Ensure all safety requirements and codes are implemented and met by all team members.
• Understand means and methods to safely perform assigned tasks.
• Ability to read and understand project documents / drawings.
• Operate heavy equipment includes running, maneuvering, navigating, and driving
• Identify issues and deviations from project plans

What we look for:

• High School Diploma / GED
• OSHA 30 Hour (Preferred)
• CPR / First Aid Training (Preferred)
• Problem Solving
• Must be an excellent excavator operator and able to pass DT operator skills test
• Understand demolition means and methods
• Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details
• Flexible to help where needed
