Suburban Carriers with FedEx Ground has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for delivery drivers in Durham, NC. Our delivery drivers will be operating box trucks in heavy, suburban residential areas surrounding the terminal. You will be operating out of the FedEx terminal at 4357 South Alston Avenue, Durham, NC 27713. We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals to work as part of a team! No CDL required! Company vehicle provided! Candidates with previous experience with Amazon, DHL, UPS, etc are a good fit for this position! Military veterans are welcome!

Pay: $160/day ($800/week)!

Schedule: FULL TIME - Monday-Friday and Tuesday-Saturday | 8:30 am - 6:30 pm

PART TIME - Saturday and Monday | 8:30 am - 6:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Scanning and logging packages
• Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections
• Effectively use GPS to arrive at your destinations accurately
• Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weights without damage to the packages, vehicle, or yourself
• Operate delivery vehicles safely, securely, and competently
• Arrive at FedEx terminal on time to pick up vehicle and packages

Requirements:

• Drivers must be able to physically manage packages up to 100 lbs
• Drivers must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Drivers must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam (PAID BY EMPLOYER)
• Drivers must be willing to submit to a background check
• Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Drivers must be 21 years of age or older
