Decarbonization Solution Architect – Buildings

Role Overview
Schneider Electric is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic solution architect to link customers’ decarbonization ambitions for buildings with outcomes supported by SE solutions. This person will partner across divisions and lines of business to develop innovative solutions and reference designs to support commercial teams in addressing specific customer inquiries in terms of product and systems environmental performance.

About the Business:
Schneider Electric’s purpose is to empower all to make the most of our energy and resources, bridging progress and sustainability for all. Buildings consume about 30% of the world’s energy and account for almost 40% of annual global greenhouse gas emissions. The future of building construction and operations, both new and retrofit, is where the world will win or lose the fight against climate change.
Digitalization allows us to connect all the systems inside a building to get the information we need to create smarter buildings and a more desirable future. Electrification is driving a dramatic shift to more renewable sources for energy.

Schneider Electric’s portfolio of solutions includes analytics and digital services, software, and hardware designed to reduce energy consumption, help buildings run more efficiently, and reduce customer’s carbon footprint.

About the Digital Energy Sustainability Office:

Vision: We believe electrification and digitization are the keys to a more sustainable and resilient future. Our vision is to become the leader in NetZero Buildings by helping to reduce the 40% of CO2 emissions attributed to buildings all over the world.

Mission:
As an Impact Company, Schneider Electric has a passion for – and commitment to – sustainability. Our mission is to work across the Digital Energy division to deliver the framework and solutions to reduce customers’ Scope 2 emissions (SE’s Scope 3 & 4) through electrifying operations, reducing energy use, replacing carbon intensive energy sources, and engaging their whole value chain so they can measure and achieve their NetZero ambitions.
