The Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides one-on-one patient care in a patient's home in DC. The HHA/CNA provides personal care and assists with activities of daily living such as cooking, light housekeeping, shopping/running errands, transferring, bathing, laundry, medication reminders, and feeding. These activities are performed in accordance with an individualized care plan under RN supervision. The HHA also performs other duties as assigned by the Field Staff Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Current DC Home Health Aide certification if working in the patient's home
Current DC Certified Nursing Assistant certification if working in a Hospital or Facility
Active CPR card (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
Setting: Private Home (HHA), Hospital & Facility (CNA)
Shifts:
12 hours shifts are available for the hospital
8 hour shifts are available for facility
shifts can vary - they can be for days, evenings, nights, overnights, weekends and rotate based on patient need
