Analytica is seeking a remote Database Architect to support an enterprise-wide data environment for a high-profile federal client. As part of our team, you will work with a diverse group of sophisticated professionals to lead database design and development.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Optimize database performance through appropriate database design and configuration
- Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies in the field of data management
- Ensure data security and data privacy by following industry best practices
- Design and implement data models and database designs and data access capabilities for business intelligence data warehouses
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data models that meet those requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- 5+ years of experience in data management, data warehousing, database administration, and data access solutions
- Solid knowledge of data mining and acquisitions, database architecture, database administration, data migration, data replication, data archive recovery, database structure systems design, data modeling, database analysis, and metadata repository creation
- Significant understanding of databases, primarily SQL Server and/or other relational and non-relational databases including IBM DB2
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or other scientific or quantitative fields.
