: Reporting Data Analyst


Location: Overland Park, Kansas City


We are currently seeking a skilled Reporting Data Analyst to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas City. As a Reporting Data Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support informed decision-making within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience with PowerBI and SQL, as well as a solid understanding of the insurance industry.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using PowerBI to present complex data in a user-friendly and meaningful manner.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, reporting, and visualization techniques.
  • Maintain documentation related to data sources, transformation processes, and reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their reporting needs and requirements.
  • Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources using SQL, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify data trends, patterns, and anomalies through in-depth analysis, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry, with knowledge of insurance-related data structures and reporting requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with PowerBI and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologies.
