Location: Hybrid/Stamford, CT (4 days a week in office)

Duration: 6 months

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical skillset and a passion for data processing to join our Hedge Fund Investment Risks group as a Data Processor and Technical Support Specialist.

Your team

The team consists of 4 people, and this is a contract role with the opportunity and expectation to extend.

Your role

This role primarily focuses on data processing and offers the opportunity to pivot into technical aspects of data processing to facilitate optimization and automation of existing workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently file hedge fund e-documentation into our internal database.

• Accurately enter performance data into the database.

• Maintain data integrity by identifying and fixing errors and creating new data points as needed.

• Coordinate the timely receipt of relevant documentation.

• Interact with various teams such as OpDD, Investment Team, Accounting Team, and InvOps to assist them with data entry related work.

• Within 1-1.5 years, apply your technical skills to optimize and automate existing processes, and develop new investment risks-centric tools.

Your Expertise

· 1-2 years of experience working in the hedge fund industry in a data-centric role and possess a solid understanding of hedge fund documentation, including offering memorandums, partnership agreements, subscription agreements, and various marketing materials.

· Experience with SQL and Python; a desire to grow these skills.

· Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
