Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist at our top Banking client. The primary responsibility of this role is to help manually capture transactions and transfer them to a new system accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on data accuracy and possess excellent attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in banking, data entry, or recent college graduates seeking a position in the financial industry.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of under 50 individuals to achieve collective objectives.
• Follow a well-defined set of instructions and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day.
• Participate in an assembly-line workflow, with each team member assigned specific roles.
• Generate reports for returns and facilitate the compilation and distribution of reports.
• Generate reports based on the acquired data, utilizing the necessary software tools.
• Manually capture transactions from various sources and migrate them to the new system.
• Assist in project-related data entry activities, working with project teams as required.
• Perform specific functions within spreadsheets and databases to organize and manage data.
• Handle transactions that are systemically unresolved, taking appropriate actions to resolve them.
• Analyze and process customer transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless flow of information and completion of tasks.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using spreadsheets, databases, and other relevant software tools.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, especially after holidays or during peak periods.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills.
• Open to considering recent college graduates looking to start their career in the financial industry.
• Prior experience in banking, data entry, or a related field is preferred.
