Luks, Santaniello, Petrillo, Cohen, & Peterfriend is an Insurance Defense Litigation trial practice. Our team of 150+ litigators reside in eleven offices in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Boca Raton, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Pensacola, Ft. Myers, Stuart and Key West.

In Sunrise FL, we are currently seeking a reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our Accounting Department.

We have teams in the following areas: General Liability, Wrongful Death, Auto, Trucking, Negligent Security, First Party Property, Construction, Professional, Products and Premises Liability, Worker’s Compensation; and for those that do not enjoy litigation, teams that focus on Early Resolution, Time and Policy Limits Demands and a team that solely focuses on overbilling surgeons and their surgery centers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organizes, analyzes and sorts new invoices for processing from external and internal vendors
• Works in conjunction with paralegals obtaining approval of invoices
• Runs reports regarding pre-approved invoices and log into spreadsheets, along with exporting and formatting
• Opening new cases for all offices
• Update client list
• Maintains, updates and enters W-9s
• Proficiency with productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Dropbox, and Office 365
• Update client billing requirements
• Organize and sort vendor invoices to be processed by client
• Enters new invoices or costs related employee reimbursements
• Other duties as assigned
• Reconciles vendor statements, in addition to communicating with vendors and service providers to ensure accuracy of all organizational invoices, requesting modification and clarification as required
• Enter budgets into the client billing platforms

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent judgment and demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information
• Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities in a highly dynamic environment
• Strong ability to work efficiently and effectively with time-sensitive materials
• Proficiency with productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Dropbox, and Office 365
• A minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in Data Entry
• AIM/Perfect Law experience a plus
• Ability to maintain organized files and databases
