Position : Data Infrastructure Support

Location : Nashville, TN

Contract to Hire

This position oversees and manages all aspects related to the strategic and operational aspects of Client’s Data Center environments. Duties include but not limited to the following:

• Coordinates third-party and vendor activities
• Oversees installation and support related to all equipment, software, and tools associated with the day-to-day management of data center and satellite sites
• Oversees installation and support related to all equipment, software, and tools associated with the day-to-day management of data center and satellite sites
• Develops purchase requirements and ensures adherence to specifications
• Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and execution
• Prepares clear and concise documentation which is situation appropriate and relevant to the audience
• Manages and monitors environmental aspects of satellite sites
• Leads the creation and maintenance of standards, policies and procedures specific to functional area
• Communicates technical material to both technical and non-technicalaudiences Participatesor leads in long-term planning of maintenance systems required to support the data center
• Ensures the overall health and availability of data center support services
• Works with Client ITS teams and customers to identify powers loads and heat loads for adding equipment.
• Designs and ensures adherence to efficient use of data center space

Minimum Qualifications

·4-5 years of experience in managing data center environments and facilities

·Working knowledge of industry standard power systems related to data center applications to include:

·Redundant power feeds

·Redundant UPS configurations

·Power distribution for data centers

·Generator and electrical switching gear

·Working knowledge of industry standard cooling systems related to data center applications to include:

·CRAC Units

·Chiller systems

·Working knowledge of Eaton Foreseer data center management systems or equivalent
