Data Analyst Power Bi

Equifind are recruiting for an Associate position (NOT investment or deal team) to join an International $25Bn AUM Private Equity Fund in their business intelligence team based in Greenwich, Connecticut.

The firm in Greenwich, Connecticut HQ has offices in New York but also Globally and are well regarded in the industry with some very notable investments under their belts.

The role

Your primary responsibilities as an Associate in the Business Intelligence team within this PE firm will include assisting with designing, building, analysing and implementing reporting solutions using power BI and other reporting tools, for example: Microsoft Sharepoint.

You will be closely working with investment, finance and investor relations teams across several offices, which will require occasional travel. This is not an investment role but applies strong technical and statistical knowledge to streamline existing processes and create new analysis and enhanced reporting.

Duties

· Modernise the data sets using Power BI, looking at inputs and consolidating the data.

· Simplify what’s there and be the administrator for the BI groups environments and Power BI application, leveraging Bi to the fullest extent

· Designing, building and implementing SQL server reporting service reports

· Enhancing the PE companies analytical capabilities by implementing automation solutions

· Leverage the teams analytical tool set to blend discrete data sources in to Interactive exec level dashboards

· Interact with external consultants and internal teams to support the implementation / maintenance of cloud based data systems

· Ad hoc projects as requested

Profile

· Bachelor’s degree

· Bower BI advanced knowledge

· SQL Server reporting, Python, R, Sharepoint a plus

· Ability to thrive is a fast paced environment

· FS experience not essential

· Highly developed problem-solving skills and demonstrated critical thinking ability

· Proven ability to build relationships at all levels
