The Mayberg Lab in the Neurology department at Mount Sinai is seeking a Data Archive Analyst. As a DAA, you will help us track, compute, and monitor key metrics used in identifying novel biomarkers in neurosurgical, neurological, and psychiatric populations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Contribute to methods and results sections of peer reviewed publications.
- Maintain high performance computing (HPC) clusters including GPUs and workstations, and installing/updating various imaging and signal processing software toolkits
- Perform first level machine learning analysis for a wide variety of data types (actigraphy, accelerometry, video (face, pose), audio (acoustic, semantic, NLP) and settings (at home, in lab, operating room, etc).
- Visualize and communicate status and quality of data in various stages of the pipeline.
- Collaborate with researchers and provide technical consultation; provide high-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python
- Hands on machine learning and deep learning experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics and/or related field, or combination of equivalent work experience and education. Master’s degree in relevant field of study preferred.
- Digital Signal processing skill
- Experience: 2-3 years database application/management experience, preferably in a large medical center or healthcare environment.

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,661.00 - $74,250.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
