Cyber-Security Operations Specialist Jobs

Job Title: Cyber Security Operations Specialist.
Location: Devens, MA (Onsite) - Locals only.
Rate: $60-$68
:

• Candidate will be working in Cybersecurity Operations at client.
• Daily activities will include managing data collection and data sources in related detection environments, including but not limited to parser creation and maintenance, infrastructure hygiene and maintenance and providing thought leadership in these areas to the team.
• Candidate will be responsible for maintaining several platforms that encompass the client detection suites.

Required:

• Provide metrics and reports related to the Cybersecurity platforms and tools.
• Collaborate with other Security Operations teams to manage requests and configure access to related systems.
• Perform primary responsibilities relating to daily operations, upgrade, rollout and support of Cybersecurity tool management.
• Actively participate in meetings and conversations around operations and configuration, and create actionable requests and change management oversite.

Position requirements:

• CISSP, Security+ or equivalent security certification preferred.
• Experience managing large/global environments required.
• Experience with Shell scripting and PowerShell preferred.
• Experience managing Server and Storage environments required.
• Experience with REGEX, LUA and other parser technologies required.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.

Skills:

• Backup & Recovery > Backups: 3 to 5 years
• Patch management: 3 to 5 years
• Cyber resilience plan development: 0 to 2 years

Pay Range: $60 - $68
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
