Cybersecurity Engineer

Experience: 5 years

Location :Remote, Any meetings or on-site work on this project such as system health checks will be conducted at Washington, DC 20515

GIAC, CompTIA CASP

or CISSP certification

Certificates

Provide subject matter expertise on architecting and deploying tools and equipment to intercept and inspect network and email traffic, as well as endpoint technology to both end user workstations and servers. Expert knowledge of security industry best practices and standards, especially as it is related to compromise assessments. Possess working knowledge of security software such as AWS GuardDuty,CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Splunk, PCAP flow analysis, and binary malware analysis experience (McAfee, CarbonBlack, Microsoft Defender, etc.). Ability to consult with customer at a high level and generate reports to track progress. Rapid response to advanced persistent threats or zero-day threats (e.g. Ransomware)strongly preferred.
