Team Introduction
The Global Security Organization provides industry-leading cybersecurity and business protection services to TikTok globally. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2024. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.
Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2024. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship cycles below:
1.May 20, 2024 to August 9, 2024
2.May 27, 2024 to August 16, 2024
3.June 10, 2024 to August 30, 2024
We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our Global Security Management Office (GSMO) at our leading cyber security company. As a GSMO intern, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of cyber security management, gain hands-on experience in coordinating and supporting critical initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable insights into the operations of a fast-paced cyber security environment.
Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met within defined timelines.
• Assist in coordinating and monitoring various cyber security projects under the guidance of senior project managers.
• Help track project deliverables, schedules, and budgets using established project management tools.

2. Documentation and Reporting:

• Support the creation and distribution of project-related reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.

3. Training Program Support:

• Collaborate with the Training and Awareness team to assist in the development, coordination, and delivery of engaging cyber security training programs and materials.
• Help create multimedia content, presentations, videos, and e-learning modules to convey key security concepts to employees.

4. Communication and Collaboration:

• Facilitate clear and effective communication among Global Security teams and XFN partners, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.

5. Risk Management:

• Support the maintenance of a risk register, tracking issues and resolutions.
• Assist in identifying and assessing potential project risks, and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, quick learner, and team player.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interest in cyber security and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master degree in Business, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field.
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2024.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with graphic design is a plus.
• Graduating December 2024 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
